About Us

ABDGN’s mission is to strengthen the global response to existing and emerging HIV and AIDS epidemics amongst African/Black/Caribbean (ABC) migrant and Diaspora communities living in the Global North.

Using a human rights-based approach, ABDGN aims to be the lead global voice on issues linked to HIV/AIDS and ABC populations, including strategies to address health inequality, stigma, and discrimination.

As a “network of networks” ABDGN links local knowledge and capacity to address HIV/AIDS by and with ABC communities to global health and social policy agendas to end HIV/AIDS. ABDGN includes global representatives from organizations in Canada, the United States, Jamaica, the United Kingdom, France, and Australia.
